The Monthly Membership meeting on Monday, December 4th, 2017 was one full of passion and productivity. The revised and corrected By-Laws were presented to the general membership for discussion/approval and some empassioned debates were involved. In the end the By-Laws were approved with a few changes. The next step will be to send the By-Laws to the Interantional Union for approval and await their decision.

The unemployment claims for the week ending November 25th, 2017 didn't work again. If you haven't already, you'll have to call the unemployment line and talk to a representative to get the issue resolved. Be ready for a long wait to get ahold of a representative as some employees have reported wait times of over 3 hours (my personal wait was about 2 hours and 40 minutes to get ahold of a person).

When several people tried to file their unemployment claims on Sunday, November 5th, 2017, there was a issue with choosing the proper options to qualify. Today (11/6/17) the HR staff reached out to the folks at the Oklahoma Unemployment Division and they were told that the problem would be fixed by Tuesday (11/7/17). If you need to file your weekly claim and want to do it on the website, try again tomorrow. Here's the web address:
