2018 MLK Day Parade

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day is coming up!!

(It was cold but we had a great turn out! We even had some salaried employees show up and march with us in a display of unity, including the Tulsa Bus Plant's Plant Manager Chuck Sibley and HR members Randy Betancourt, Pam Van Gorder and Megan Hodgin. Thank you for the show of unity and support on a day that is bigger than us all.)

Come and walk with us in the City of Tulsa's Martin Luther King Day Parade on the 15th of January. Sign-up sheets are on the boards near the entrances and in the breakrooms. Bring your family members!

Tulsa Bus Plant employees who sign-up by this Friday will get one free T-Shirt. Family members or employees who don't sign-up by this Friday can buy a T-Shirt for 8 dollars (9 dollars for larger sizes).

We will be meeting beforehand to pass out the T-Shirts and coordinate at the Union Hall at 1414 N. Memorial Drive at 7:30am on the 15th. We will be taking a bus downtown, but there won't be enough room for everyone.

Bus will leave from there at 8:30am (Room on the bus is first come first served).

For anybody who wants to meet at the parade, you must be there before 10am in order to participate in the parade.

We will be staged near the corner of Detroit Ave. and John Hope Franklin Blvd., look for the Big Yellow Bus.
